There are lots of games for kids to enjoy and flat screen TV’s in the bar area tuned to sports events. The kids liked their hamburgers and hot dogs. The fried chicken special was excellent as were the ribs. Had a family dinner at Pistol Pete’s on a late Saturday afternoon. Was worth overlooking the warehouse atmosphere for an excellent walleye dinner. The potatoe cakes were outstanding as well. Both were exceptional! The portion size was incredible. Went on a Friday night and both had the walleye dinner, each had the 2 different coatings, beer batter and Italian breeding. Atmosphere kind of like a huge warehouse sports bar….not cozy for sure. Prices were reasonable and the service was very good! I would definitely go back again.Įnded up here after finding out original choice was closed. It was awesome! Also had the beer battered fish fry with potato pancakes. Had the personal buffalo chicken pizza for an appetizer. If you want to be wowed stop in at Pete’s for an overall great time! He also has live bands on Friday nights which are always entertaining and the crowds are electric.
The food here is vastly underrated and he has great specials! The AYCE Thursday ribs special is amazing and his Friday fish fry has several options. Never had a bad meal there, but seating is limited for dinner crowds and especially Friday nights, so get there early! They not only have traditional baked/fried cod, but also perch, walleye and two kinds of breading – beer batter or italian crumb-style. Their fish fry is the best myself and my wife have ever had. Pistol Pete’s is one of Brookfield’s hidden gems. We tried this as it was recommended by a friend, and I’m planning on having it again. The potato pancakes were also good, so far we can only find decent (not burned) ones at one location in our area. I like that they have broiled fish, it’s a plus! And the menu has enough options for types of fish and style to keep both me and my husband happy. The clam chowder was authentic and flavorful.
